French olive oil as its best. Clear color smooth taste delicate nothing we know of to compare with,By far the best olive oil I’ve ever tasted. Rather pricey but worth an occasional splurge.Actually visited this store in Nice,France twice and lugged home liter metal containers of this- that is over - so this is best way to enjoy it- the absolute bestExcellent olive oil. It’s the only one I use!I returned home from a trip to Nice with a tiny gift set of oils. I didn't visit the plant while there but thought it was a fun souvenier. The first small bottle I opened was the Nicolas Alzairi Diamant Noir. I dipped a little French Bread in it and was floored! I had never tasted olive oil like that before...even in olive oil stores. I was obsessed with finding more. This was the only thing I could find in the states. Someday I hope to be able to find more of the Diamant Noir. In the meantime this regular EVOO will have to do.It's my favorite olive oil!I use the olive oil for salads, or a bruchetta or drizzling... It is so flavorful. I do not often use it for cooking.I found the oil in a shop in Nice, France, and won’t buy any other. Der Karton ist absolut unbeschädigt, da liegt die Vermutung nahe, dass die Dose schon verbeult eingepackt wird. Zum Verschenken ungeeignet und auch aus gesundheitlichen Gründen soll man ja beschädigte Blechdosen nicht verwenden.Ich habe mein Lieblingsöl zum letzten Mal dort gekauft.Durch Zufall sind meine Frau und ich in einem Gourmet Restaurant in Bergisch Gladbach auf dieses Olivenöl gestoßen, da es dort in kleinen Metalldosen auf dem Tisch stand und zum Dippen mit Brot gereicht wurde.Wir haben dann die Metalldosen fotografiert und haben uns sehr gefreut, dass es bei Amazon gelistet ist.Es schmeckt wunderbar nussig, ist hervorragend für Salate und zum puren Verkosten geeignet.Neben den recht teuren Tröpfchenölen ist dieses Produkt ebenfalls absolut topp und einzigartig.Obwohl es nicht gerade preisgünstig ist, werden wir es sofort nachordern wenn es aufgebraucht ist, aber bis dahin lassen wir uns es erst mal noch gut munden.Mal abgesehen von der attraktiven Dose, die eine Zierde für jedes Küchenregal ist - das Alziari-Öl ist einfach ein Genuss. Da bleibt kein Rest auf dem Teller, sondern wird genüsslich mit Brot aufgetunkt. Ich kann jedem, der nach Nizza kommt, nur empfehlen, sich im dortigen Alziari-Geschäft mal umzusehen und auch die sonstigen Produkte der Firma (alter Familienbetrieb) zu probieren.Mann spart die Fahrkosten nach Nizza?Tolles Öl. Dort kaufen macht natürlich mehr Spaß.Wunderbares Öl, toller Geschmack, hervorragend geeignet für Salatdressing, top, auf jeden Fall seinen Preis wert!
